Self- Reflection
1. The good and strong pieces of the sculpture, I can most certainly say this time the best is about everything I am very happy with it overall.
2. I could have done better with time and working habits, unfortunately I was tied up with many other projects at the time.
3. The scupture was an Apple Macintosh all-in-one from 1994, the theme was my childhood as I felt like much of my childhood was focused around the computer and it was one of the things that my dad and I really enjoyed and brought us closer together.
4. This is a representative of all of my childhood, not just the time I spent on it or the time my father and I spent together, I say this because this was an icon that represented a generation. I was born into the generation of technology and computers.
5. This is a good use of 3D form, I tried to get the correct size ratio on the computer, The computer is all in one with a monitor of about 15" inches on top and a small tower built into the bottom, I made a to size ratio keyboard and mouse to go with it. It is however miniaturized
6. I learned that life can be wrapped in a bow and can be represented by one small icon, and I feel as if most of our generation and the items that we revolve around can be summed up by this one revolutionary object.
7. This computer was one big old thing made entirely from slabbed clay, there was very little hand work. It was a very difficult form to create from an entirety of clay, working with this project was difficult but was feasable. It was not one of my preliminaries.
8. This was worthwhile but only if the student knows how they can represent and how, most my time was spent thinking of ideas for this project and I feel a little more time to think would have been helpful.
