Portrait Portfolio Reflection
1. The strong aspects were definitely the subjects and the diversity, The subjects in my photos were almost all very photogenic and created a really good photo.
2. I think I could have made my photos slightly more diverse, even though I thought I did a good job in diversity, I think that I could have done slightly better.
3. The attributes of my best photo was definitely the expression on the face of my subject. And the action in the photo and the subject was definitely a very strong aspect of the photo also.
4. I didn't do a very fantastic job when it came to lighting because I didn't get a whole lot of choices when it came to the lighting scales, The colors in the photos wasn't exactly my best either, it goes without saying that I am not very good at portrait photos.
5. I used a lot of action and expression in my photos, not a whole lot of emotional or personalities, I have found that action can lead the center of attention away from the face and the person, which I find to be pretty cool.
6. The emphasis in most photos was obviously action as I stated in the last question, the reason being is just quite simple, the actions of the person in the photo make the photo more interesting and people don't have to be photogenic in action shots.
7. I learned from this project that facial expression and actions show a lot about a person and that a lot can be learnt from these sort of photos and you can learn about people in very simple ways.
8. I had no design process, the photos were by chance and the fact that I just happened to have a strong group of good subjects that were very good at making inproptu photos and were especially enthusiastic.
9. Yes and No, I think it is because I learnt a lot and I don't know a lot about portraits. No, because I didn't really enjoy this project because I am not a go getter and I don't go around getting photos of people, I think that nature photos should be a replacement to be honest.
